Due to this other companies have needed to expand their advertising onto Facebook, however, there are ways to create effective advertising that isn’t always obvious as what works for one company is completely inappropriate for another. Lori Senecal has offered some tips that should be followed in order to generate great Facebook ads.
According to Adage, her first tip is that you need to have a goal for your ad. It might be to raise awareness of a product or it might be an effort to get people to follow your brand. The important thing is that if you don’t have a goal you will end up spending large sums of money and time on an effort that ultimately fails. Lori also points out that you need to have a plan for your ad. Break every step down that you need to do to create the ad and do things like chart out a schedule so that you know when you need to make a new Facebook posting promoting your effort.
Some other tips she offers in her longer piece on the subject is to include real people as most users can spot a stock photo in an instant. Also, she says to eliminate anything aggravating so that you draw customers in instead of repelling them away.
